ShearCare 300 Pressure Reducing Support Surface - Foam
- A pressure reducing foam mattress specifically designed for home care.
This mattress is divided into three distinct zones, comprised of 66channel cuts for the reduction of friction.
Varied pressure reduction is achieved in the heel, torso and head sections,
while specific attention is given to cell depths for pressure management in the vulnerable heel section.
- The top cover is Unitek™ Nylon. A 70 Denier urethane coated nylon.
Low shear, fluid resistant, anti-microbial/anti-bacterial, fire retardant fabric.
- 3 Pressure Zones/ Solid - core construction:
Foam Core: Channel cut high density polyurethane foam with 66 channel cuts to provide pressure
reduction and anti-shear sleeping surface. The core is fire retardant and anti microbial/ anti bacterial.
- The bottom cover is Masongard™. A triple laminate vinyl, fluid resistant, anti bacterial/anti microbial and fire retardant.
- Contamination barrier: Mason's Barrier Stop™ this flap reduces the possibility of contamination of the inner core.
- Optional FSBS™ Fire stop Barrier system conforms to California technical bulletin #129 and the NFPA Life Safety Code 101.
- Optional RRSPT™ Rail System (Raised Side Support Patient Transfer). Allows for patient security and support during bed transfer and offers a gentle reminder when the patient is near the edge of the bed
