CREDIT APPLICATION

We now offer credit terms (NET 30) to hospitals, universities and physician offices.  Download a copy of our credit application.

ORDER PROCESSING
Claflin Equipment will process your order within 8 business hours, however, if the item(s) needs to be shipped directly from the manufacturer, they will adhere to their delivery schedule.

Look for items labeled “Quick Ship” for faster service. These items will generally ship the same day, or next business day depending on when your order is placed. When combining Quick Ship items with Standard Items on the same order, the Quick Ship items will be shipped as usual and depending on manufacturer lead time the other items will be shipped at the manufacturers prevailing shipping schedule. On occasion Quick Ship items become temporarily out of stock. In the event that you order a Quick Ship Item and we can not ship it within 24 hours, we will contact you A.S.A.P. to discuss other options. We offer Free Shipping on most orders over $99.00, going anywhere in the 48 Contiguous States. We do, however ship worldwide, simply call or email us for a shipping quote.   Exam tables shipped "Special Delivery" will be delivered by North American Van Lines who will bring the table to your location, uncrate table and place in your exam suite as you direct. You will be called to schedule delivery when product is in your area. 

Please note some products (Injectables, Vaccines, Point of Care tests) may carry a $6.95 Ship on Ice fee per order for the product to ship via a cooler with 2-day shipping.

 

* While most orders over $99 Ship Free, heavy items that require freight delivery may incur a shipping/delivery charge.  A customer service representative will call you to discuss such charges. Items that might incur shipping charges are the Ritter 204 Manual Exam Table, Ritter 222 Power Exam Table, Ritter 223 Power Exam Table and others. Items such as the Midmark/Ritter M11 autoclave ship free to business locations, however a $125 additional charge will be added to your order if the product is shipped to a residential location.  One of our customer service representatives will call you prior to the order being processed.

Ground DeliveryGround Delivery
Products with this icon are shipped via UPS or FedEx ground. Expedited  services are available at an additional cost.  We will not accept fax or email orders which require special shipping unless also called in. Orders must be called in before 2:00PM EST to upgrade shipping on stock items. Any  “Expedited” services for non stock products is based on the date your order is filled, not the date your order is placed. Once your product has come in it will be shipped  out with the  upgraded service you selected. Packages cannot be shipped to a post office box. If you are outside of the Contiguous 48 States please call for additional shipping charges.

Tailgate Delivery  
Product will be delivered to your location (48 Contiguous States), and brought to the tailgate of the delivery vehicle. As part of the common carrier driver ICC regulations, truck drivers are required only to bring merchandise to the tailgate of their vehicle. The customer is then responsible for removal of the items from the tailgate of the delivery vehicle. Your facility must have Tractor-Trailer accessibility. This means that a Tractor-Trailer can easily access your parking lot. This is not to be confused with having a loading dock. If you are unable to meet these demands please contact us to make additional arrangements. If you require your shipment brought into the building please call for an Inside Delivery quote.

Lift Gate Service
Product will be delivered to your location (48 Contiguous States), and our selected freight carrier will unload your shipment when unloading docks are not available. Your facility must have Tractor-Trailer accessibility. This means that a Tractor-Trailer can easily access your parking lot. This is not to be confused with having a loading dock.  The carrier will only unload the product to ground level and you will be required to bring the product into your building. If you require your product brought into the building please see our Inside Delivery or Special Delivery options.

Inside Delivery
Product will be delivered to your location (48 Contiguous States), and our selected freight carrier will unload your shipment when unloading docks are not available. Your facility must   have Tractor-Trailer accessibility. This means that a Tractor-Trailer can easily access your parking lot. This is not to be confused with having a loading dock.  The carrier will unload shipments to areas that are not next to the trailer such as shopping malls or office buildings. An elevator must be available to provide service to floors above or below the trailer. The carrier will not remove any packages are not required to do anything more than place the product inside the building. It is up to the receiver to move the product from that point. If you require your product brought into the building, unpacked and put in place please see our Special Delivery option.

Special Delivery
Our Contracted Freight Carrier will bring the product to your location (48 Contiguous States), uncrate the product and place in your exam suite. You will be called to schedule delivery when product is in your area.  Conditions may apply.

Conditions and Restrictions that may require additional charges.
If your situation exceeds anything listed below please call for a quotation. Claflin Equipment will not be held responsible for any additional charges. You are responsible for any, and all costs of the additional services that you may require. Please call before placing order to discuss options. Arrangements for payment of any additional charges need to be made before delivery will be made.   

Accessibility- Your facility must have Tractor-Trailer accessibility. This means that a Tractor-Trailer can easily access your parking lot. This is not to be confused with having a loading dock.

Time onsite is limited to 30 Minutes- Common obstacles that affect time on site are, but not limited to, long distance carry over 75 ft., facility not ready for delivery, stairs, multiple floors and / or elevators.

Site preparation- You are responsible for removing anything from the location that the product will be placed in, that will obstruct placement of the product (i.e. existing tables) before your product arrives.  Facilities that are not ready for delivery or have more than three steps may incur additional charges.  Please discuss this with your Claflin Medical sales representative in advance.

Debris Removal- You are responsible for debris removal. North American can remove packaging debris if notified before delivery. You will be held liable for any additional charges.

Scheduling delivery- You will be called to schedule delivery when the product is in your area. Upon pre-call you are allowed only seven to ten days to accept delivery before storage charges will apply. Please plan accordingly.

Every effort is made to accurately pack and ship your order. Should you encounter a problem please follow the Return Policy and Instructions.

FREIGHT DAMAGE – INSPECT YOUR SHIPMENT

Thoroughly inspecting your order is CRITICAL. We recommend you check your order immediately, while the driver is present. If there is damage to the packaging or to the internal contents, please have the delivery driver make appropriate notations before signing for the shipment. Promptly notify our returns department of any freight damage. If damage is concealed you MUST:

  1. Notify us within 48 hours of receipt.
  2. Report damage in writing to returns@claflinequip.com.
  3. Include pictures and a description of the damage so that we may file the appropriate paperwork.
  4. Retain all original packaging material and packing information to accommodate for possible freight inspection.

CREDIT FOR RETURNED GOODS

In order to receive credit for in stock items shipping from Claflin Medical Equipment, product(s) must be returned within 30 days of invoice, must be unopened, and in salable condition. Customer is responsible for return shipping. Special order items, upholstered items (i.e.: stools and tables), opened or defaced products, discontinued products, used instruments, expired products, and products returned after 30 days of invoice WILL NOT be returnable. In case of customer error, credit issued for in stock items will be less a 25% restocking and freight costs. Return policy for non-stock, special order, and or drop shipped items will be subject to the return goods policy of the manufacturer.  All returns must have an RGA# clearly identified on the shipment. All items returned in any other manner will not be processed. Please email returns@claflinequip.com or dial (800) 338-2372 option 1, then 2 for returns, should you have questions about a return, or to obtain an RGA. 


 

Sales Tax:

At this time we will only charge Sales Tax on purchases shipped to Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts or Indiana. Please keep in mind that should you live in a State not previously mentioned and that State does have a Sales Tax that you may be required by that State to declare those purchases and pay those taxes.
