ShearCare 700 Pressure Reducing Support Surface Mattress - Foam
This pressure reducing mattress features three pressure relieving zones with a specifically designed top layer of precision cut, flat top high density foam. The ShearCare™ 700 increases air circulation throughout the mattress system, reducing heat build-up between the patient and sleeping surface. Mattress is fully reversible end to end, increasing product longevity.
3 Pressure Zones Top layer : Precision cut High density polyurethane foam provides a cool sleeping surface eliminating heat buildup. Non-shear surface reduces the risk of tissue breakdown. Middle layer : Medium density solid core provides additional comfort and support. Bottom layer : Patient support layer high density, high ILD foam provides patient support and stability to the mattress.
Side Rails: SSPT™ Rail System (Side Support Patient Transfer). Allows for patient security and support during bed transfer.
Contamination barrier: Mason’s Barrier Stop™ this flap reduces the possibility of contamination of the inner core.
Fire retardant: California Technical Bulletin #117.
Optional RRSPT™ Rail System (Raised Side Support Patient Transfer). Allows for patient security and support during bed transfer and offers a gentle reminder when the patient is near the edge of the bed.
